    The Department of Pharmacy Services provides pharmaceutical care to patients managed by University of Washington Physicians. Pharmacy staff located in centralized and remote inpatient and ambulatory practice settings at UWMC, HMC, the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, Hall Health Center and other affiliated Neighborhood Clinics work under the leadership of the Director of the Department of Pharmacy Services. |
The primary purpose of the Department of Pharmacy Services is to promote optimal clinical outcomes for our patients. Our pharmacists and pharmacy assistants practice in a wide variety of inpatient and ambulatory settings and are integral members of the Academic Medical Center’s health care team. Our strong clinical pharmacy programs are enhanced by automated medication distribution systems and opportunities for participation in teaching and research activities are afforded by our committed partnership with the UW School of Pharmacy.
